What do people think of George Galloway? Just wondered if anyone saw him on question time on BBC1. Just wondering if there is anyone that actually agrees with he states?

I saw the programme, never miss it, the man is a great Orator, but thats it, he should be tried as a traitor to this country, not given air time to publicise his views.

Now Max Hastings, thats a different matter.

• His fellow Brits


• His fellow MP's


• His constituants

What on earth were they thinking when they elected this buffoon?

from what i have heard coming from british politicians, which admittedly is not a whole lot. he is the only, i re peat only one i have heard, who speaks the truth. i admire a man who has a spine!

I wish those who answered in the negative would back up their answers. It's easy to call someone a buffoon and leave it at that. I tend to agree with a lot of his opinions. He is a good speaker who speaks the truth about Bliar and the USA' s involvement in Iraq and their history of torture/war crimes. It is so refreshing to hear a politician speak with integrity, rather than toe the party line, or sit on the fence or sycophantically in fear of loosing their privilages. With all the public sleaze in the press over the years, I still find it amazing that it's people like him that get berated. I reckon it's a case of "You can fool most of the people most of the time"

it's the media's job to belittle and smear those that don't adhere to the party line, and it's our duty to understand this. and not by their papers and switch of their channels.

It's amazing how far this thread hasn't gone, I would have thought that a lot of people would have jumped on the bandwagon and hammered him. It is not a matter of agreeing with what he says, it is "whether or not he is saying the right things". Hard@it
