Can't find it on AutoRoute 2002 so either it is a very small city, you have spelt it wrong or it doesn't exist.
It's certainly not a city. If it exists, and I can't find it, probably only one person lives there, hence the expression 'The Chosen one'.

Thank you everyone for your answers. I was given this name as the town from which my ancestor, Thomas Dunn, was born in 1606...Is there anything near sounding? Thanks, SJNOVAK
I come from a village called Cholsey. Sounds fairly similar.
What about pc dialogues; 'I am looking for info on cities in England' Dialogue box says 'enter chosen city' ? :-)
Just been trawling on Google and it looks like a simple transcription error - http://www.reddellstory.net/A-Shelton%20Story/thom
as%20dunn.htm
. Nobody else as yet seems to have found a birthplace for Thomas Dunn. Good luck!

Yes, I have seen that info on the Internet. What do you mean "it looks like a transcription error"?. It seemed as though this website had Chosen, England listed as the birthplace of Thomas Dunn. Thanks, Sandy
Sandy - just echoing xyzzy's point re pc dialogues. It could well be that somebody's reached a page with a drop-down menu tab and for whatever reason entered the info on their own page as 'chosen'. I can safely say that as a British placename, it doesn't exist.
