Not the foggiest where to put this question;

what would you wear to a vegas themed WORK function?

Might seem corny and obvious - but what about an ELVIS lookalike? Certainly had its fair share of impersonators there. Or you could dress as a playing card, say Ace of Hearts! Bit difficult to copy a slot machine or roulette table!! Lots of people think its tacky - so anything OTT glitzy will probably be popular...

white shirt,black bow-tie, arm bands, bkack trousers, and a green visor, like an old-time croupier if you are a guy, and a bright pink velour suit, with a big paper cup to catch your winning if you are a girl!
