Stand Up Comedy - Surrey

I'm looking for a decent stand up comedy night in pubs in the Guildford area and wondered if anyone had any suggestions. I have been to one in The Guildford Arms (I think) but it was a bit hit and miss. Also, wouldn't mind if anyone had any suggestions for pubs with good live music?

The University of Surrey is located in Guildford. They have a Comedy Night every week, although it is now holiday time, so it won't be running until the new term starts in Sept.
There is an excellent social life there; the union also hosts live bands. If you know someone who attends the uni, you can get them to sign you in as a guest for the union, although you would have to check first
