Their DNA, is more european or more Middle Eastern?

Middle eastern origin. Ethiopian jews are converts to Judaism so have Ethiopian African DNA and the small amount of European DNA present in some Jewish people is simply as a result of 'history in the making . . .'

Kurdish, Armenian, Palestinian Arab, Lebanese, Syrian, and Anatolian Turkish peoples are related to the Jewish DNA base apparently. http://www.khazaria.com/genetics/abstracts.htm l has a bunch of info.

Also the Jews are divided into Sephardi, who are southern, from Spain and the south Mediterranean, and Askenazi from Eastern Europe. Though there is nothing to stop intermarriage I'd expect one to be far more middle Eastern and the other to be more European. I'm sure it's already been checked and I'd like to see the results.
