Does anyone know where I can get info from expats living in Spain. I'd like to know possible pitfalls of moving there as a single person, but not looking for a partner (honest)

All I would say is be careful where you live. If you live in a mainly holiday resort you could be very lonely as your neighbours will not be permanent.
If you don't speak Spanish start learning now - there is a lot of red tape you will need to understand. It will help you make Spanish friends.
Be aware too that there is a back lash - some Spaniards are fed up that their towns and villages have changed character with the huge influx of foreigners - not just Brits, but Germans, Dutch and many others.
Good luck!

Ola, dummkopf - and if its the south you are looking at, go to the message boards and info on http://andalucia.com
There is a 'living in the region' section with details about residency, permits, accommodation, employment, etc.
But as above - learn the language if you do not already speak Spanish........
