Don't know whether others are like this , but i go all childish when at seaside, love the dressing up in wigs or
hats etc, can't pass the joke shops, get stressed out in the machines where you grab a teddybear, Love all the shows for the kids with the puppets etc.You also seem to buy rubbish to take home. I have had a great weekend in Blackpool and it brought out my silly side.Do you go silly by the sea ? thanks

errrr, i did in Southport last week, I rode on the little train that trundles across the prom, and i bought a lilac cowboy hat for my daughter!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my grandson loved it and but for the Bikers that used the prom as a show-off-my-big-piece-of-kit it would have been perfect.
Oh and it was hot, and expensive lol
Hi inej, im off to skeggy (lucky me) on weds and i have to say, i cant wait! Ok i know its not the best holiday town, not by as long shot, but its the nearest for me. I cant wait to put my 3 year old on a donkey and watch him digging in the sand! Yes, it will certainly bring out the big kid in me. Im going on the fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!
Went to Saundersfoot for the day yesterday ...and quite the opposite happened ...it bought out the grumpy-old-man in me ....is this normal?

I'm not 'that' old, and not (usually) that grumpy...
Hey Julie ... how's you're friend coping?

Hi buddy, can i just ask, who you were???

My friend is still waiting on the results! It must seem like a lifetime for her and her husband but i saw her yesterday and she seemed her usual self but as i said, shes not one to mope and worry, not on the outside anyway. I will keep you informed. Thank you so much for asking about her, it means a lot to me. XX

Sorry for the hi-jack inej :-)
Ok , i think i know who you are now, just by you asking that question. very caring on this subject. thanks again
you know who I am ...can't believe they're still waiting for the results ...they should really be on the phone 24/7 until they get answers ... it's not fair ...

HI unruliejulie, Skegness is ok , only ever been once but seemed ok ,we went to ingoldmills.Don't do the big rides on the fair anymore. I go all silly , soon as i spot the tower when we are on the way in the car i get all excited and take me shoes offf ready for the sand (honest). I used to do this when i was a little kid . Trouble is am 33 now.
No probs about hijacking the thread , you carry on fine by me xx
i love playing on the sand by the sea!!! its just great, and to see my kids playing in it.......unexplainable!!!

hi jules!!!!
Hi inej,

Live by the sea, so perhaps thats why I'm so daft lol !!

Wouldn't like to tell you what that Pippa gets up to tho, makes out its for her kiddies, but you know what ? She leaves em standing there and gets on the roundabout herself !! Oh, as for Wardy, well *have to whisper*
knotted handkerchief, strides rolled up, sandels and socks in his hand - and that was just shopping in Marks and Sparks !!! Lol

Hi jules, hope you have a lovely time at Skeggy, and best wishes to your friend. See you soon. xXx

n00dles ☺
Hi RB and Noodles!
im gonna have a fab time in skeggy cause i am a bit like you, inej. I will get excited when i see the beach, although saying that, in skeggy its miles out! lol It will be mid afternoon when i reach the sea!!!! I dont do the big rides either but its just the whole sea side thing. The smell of chips, doughnuts and bags of candyfloss swaying in the wind! My favourite seaside town has to be Blackpool but its years since i went there. The last time i did, me and my ex hubby got thrown out of Blackpool tower.
