What is Scarborough like?
14 Answers
Been getting itchy feet the last few months and considering it might be time to move on again.
Seen a job thats my line of work going in scarborough, but i've never even visited the place.
So anyone out there tell me what's the place like and is it good living there?

The town is the arcades and fish and chips - which is good if that is what you want - North Bay is lovely
Take Greedyfly's advice - go and give it a try before you commit - Good Luck - let's know how you go on

I would move to Scarborough tomorrow! I love it. Its such a great place! Not tacky and smelly like Skegness, shops are lovely, nice Cafe's, nice bars. Couldn't tell you about living there, but i can defo recommend it. Why not visit for a few days and see what you think. You won't be disappointed. Let us know how you get on!x
Love the place. I'm off to Robin Hoods Bay for two weeks on Friday and will be visiting Scarborough regularly during my stay.
Would move here like a shot. Like all other places there are good and bad areas to live. These you would be able to determin for yourself by driving around the area. The local transport is good and there is an hourly train service to York.
The coast, Moors and Dales are all to hand - what more could you want?
