I used to skulk around in a poloneck and always try and sit sort offside to my Mum who had eyes like a hawk !
My dear old pop ..in spite of all his moaning about "the younger generation" always indulged me .Probably because of being the "baby " of the family .But he used to draw the line at some of the lads ."In at ten my girl and no later" !!
Poor old map71070...I do hope you are the patient sort ....this could go on for ever especially if I send a message via Biddybank to Robinia et al !

I'm a tad younger than this motley crew so I was a smart skinhead type by night with feather cut hair & trevira suit & the crombie coat too.....(by day just your average trollop with a micro mini skirt - it was the only way to get on in your job lol)
gonna make you sick now, I can still get into my checked Benny (ben sherman) ha!

Aah, baby Robinia.
You didn't know the joy of being nearly strangled by a BIBA boa then, or trying to see out of eyes so thick with dribble damp Miner's mascara... or walking on high clumpy heels that your granny would have worn....??
Odd thing is my boyfriend had a huge 1000cc Vincent Black Shadow, so I wore black trousers and jacket when we went to races and trials. I'd forgotten that. No wonder I'm eternally confused.....

god Cetti,
That bike would be worth a fortune now, a mate of mine had two Bikes a Bonneville and a Black shadow, he sold the Black shadow for about 5000.00 but a few weeks later learnt it had been re-sold for 11000.00 it had only done about 3000 miles, but his wife wanted a Campervan,he kept the Triumph cos he bought that new,
electric, we won't need bodygaurds we will be to busy in a passionate embrace, lol

John Lee Hooker was amazing live. He was always totally drunk - but still sounded amazing. Don't forget the Animals. Eric Burden had a voice from heaven..
Ray, that Vincent would be worth about 30,000+.now and the Velocette Thruxton production racer (the nest bike)would be worth, well, it would keep me in martinis for a bit...
