On tv a few years ago there was a documentary about a family who said they collectivly own a few square miles of down town manhatten because of deeds etc that had been signed by their ancestors. The value of the land and the buildings was said to be around $200 billion. Buildings include a church which they tried to get into but were locked out. Could anyone please tell me the surname of the family and where i can find information about it on the internet?

Isn't this the one about the Jones family who are all decendants from a priate who claimed to have owned manhatten island... sure snopes will have it...
