My boss is called mario and apparently he is named after an opera singer called mario lansa (sp) but I dont know how to spell the second name and therefore cant look it up on wikipedia. does anyone know the correct spelling? thanks in advance as I need to take the p*ss out of him.

Please don't take the p155 out of either of them. My mum is a Lanza fan, and whilst he was way before my time, I can see what she saw in him. I've watched a couple of his films - the guy just oozed charisma, was fabulous looking and had a voice to die for.

Maybe make the boss sing the cornetto song, but no more.

If you use yahoo search engine and you don't get the spelling right it normally says "did you mean ... Mario Lanza" so its always worth trying, I have found out all sorts of crosswords answers like that !

there's a name I haven't heard in awhile. My father was a huge fan of his, and I haven't heard the name mentioned since he died. I may even look for some Lanza recordings now... thanks

by the way I asked Mario if the kids at school took the p*ss out of him and he said no because mario was a really cool name, just as well his mum wasn't an Englebert Humperdink fan.
