The question is what was being said at the "Yes ?" The clue is:- A man is not at ease with the world as when he is working, and this was what this man had been doing. As he stared out of the window at the first flakes of the winter his ears pricked up at the sound of his phone ringing. Pulling a few wood chippings from his hair he bounded up the cellar stairs to the kitchen. He almost tripped avoiding a spider on the last step which seemingly had a deathwish. As he went through the hall he looked at the pictures of his fathers, and his father's father and his father's father's father all sporting ginger beards. He reached the blue phone and picked up the receiver and said : 'Hello' 'Speaking' 'Yes - ?' 'Tomorrow is fine' 'Okay see you then' At the end of the conversation he laughed and smiled. After he replaced the receiver he looked at the mantelpiece a picture had fallen. He replaced the picture of his dog next to the picture of his cat and what appeared to be an almost completely black picture with some sort of vague animal outline just visible. He looked at his bright green sofa and thought about watching some TV and just relaxing but changed his mind as he caught sight of his desk covered in important invoices from abroad. And decided to go back to his cellar that he had converted into a furniture workshop.
