any idea where I can find mazes? Preferably around Manchester but i suppose anywhere would do.

If you want to go on a nice train journey Hampton Court, in Surrey has a famous one although it looked a bit dishevelled when I was there last year.

Hazlehead Park, Aberdeen...probably a bit far for a day trip though!
