few questions im thinking of applying for a few new jobs and need some advise on people who use the m6 motorway. i live at J11 m6 one job is at J15 and is 3miles away from the motorway junction and one job is at J16 and 10 miles away from the motorway junction. i know what the m6 can be like but i dont use if on a day to day basis so would like to hear from people who do how bad traffic is? also i remember from going to alton towers that these 2 junctions have had a lot of road works on. for the job that is at j15 i have to use the a519 to newcastle for 10 miles anyone use that road?

Newcastle is pretty easy to get to from J15 of the M6, its a straight road that doesn't get that much traffic, it will take 5-10 mins off the motorway - are you sure it's 10 miles though, I'm sure it isn't that far away. The postcode ST5 2EG appears to be Friarswood Road which is just on the edge of the town centre so you won't get snarled up in the traffic on the ringroad.
Can't say about Alsager, I've haven't been for years but it's not a massive place and I cant imagine there been lots of holdups traffic wise.
