Missing Whitby !!

Any one out there been lucky enough to visit Whitby recently ? It's my favourite place in the WORLD and as I live in Derby I don't get there too often. Going for a week at Christmas as usual but that seems yonks away !!!!!!!!
Went for a week last month and it rained the whole week.

No.I'm a bit to clever for that,we go at Christmas when it is far to cold for anyone to queue !!! We just walk straight in !!

i think i have told you before, it is MY favourite place in this country! I would just love to live there! When i first visited, i was blown away by it.

Mmmmm. Whitby, fresh air, the Magpie, fish and chips. Think I'll go in October.

Yeah we have decided to go for a day in October,I love mooching around all the quaint little shops around the Church Street area.I have also found out about other forthcoming events in and around the area.
As follows : Wartime Weekend at the NYMR from the 13th until the 15th of October;Wizard Weekend at the NYMR on the 28th and 29th of October;Victorian Weekend at Robin Hoods Bay on the 1st,2nd and 3rd of December.Oh and one I found out about today ;Toy Fair at the Pickering Showground on the 12th of November.Also if you like York you may want to go to the St.Nicholas Christmas Market from the 23rd until the 26th of November.
I will be going to ALL of them !
