Hi all - people who play their music on their mobile phones while on public transport - rude or what??

Cant stand it its the most rude and irritating thing EVER! Its like have you never heard of headphones? Its always the chavs sitting at the back of the bus playing hardcore rap that they probably dont actually like, they just play it cuz it makes them think they look harder!

Yeah, it really gets on my goat too. It's always kids about fourteen playing rap or crap hardcore.

It should be banned. I was once on a rather long train journey and two young women sitting across the carriage, set up a portable CD player complete with external speakers, on their table. I was the only one to tell them to at least turn the volume down, but this was only ignored. My journey was completely ruined.

Yep joycey2006, it is a free world, so that means I shouldn't have to listen to your music any more than you would want to listen to mine.

I get bored on public transport too, but that doesn't mean I need to bore or annoy others with my dodgy taste in music. There is a wonderful new invention called "headphones" which allow you to listen to music without disturbing anyone else with it - get with the times kid!
