You don't like the rain, the sprawl, smoke and... well other stuff that make my UK not quite okay. You do like the sun, cheap houses and rural picturesque quaintness of a land with a language thats pleasant sounding and easy to pick up. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I ask because I know there are people who are well travelled about this planet, I want to know how they came to lay their hat?

Cape Town. It's cheap by UK standards - petrol around 45p/litre ,3 bedroomed house with swimming pool from around �110,000, then of course they speak English, you have fabulous beaches and weather and medical facilities that are top notch and CLEAN and you get your test results within 24hrs.
