Good place to live near Ashford: France

Place to avoid: Ashford.
I used to live in Ashford, try and avoid south Ashford mainly around Beaver Lane and stanhope. However some of the older roads off the park are nice.

It's a little hit and miss because there are good and bad parts all over the place.
Hamstreet is very sweet as is Boughton Aluph and Ruckinge. We moved here a year ago and Trashford is to be avoided unless..... errr..... I cannot think of any reason why you would go there unless you are a commuter.

Even the International service is bypassing from next year and just running a skeleton service lol ;-)

Canterbury has far more to offer and is worth the drive.

When are you planning the move? are you buying?.....

I'm looking for someone else & my knowledge of East Kent isn't as good as I'd like. Any insight would be appreciated.
Thx.
Wye is a good village too.
This agent is good.

Best to have a drive round and get the feeling of the villages within commutable distance. Hamstreet and Wye both have train services.
The bus services are very hit and miss so a car is needed or patience.
Happy house hunting :-)
Be careful with the decline of the Eurostar house prices may, and I stress may, go down.
