Has anyone driving alone Edge Lane in Liverpool seen a man dressed in a white 70's style suit and a red shirt, with black bowl-head hair and glasses standing on the pavement? This is usually during rush hour traffic morning and occasionally evening.
WHo is he, and why does he dress like that? I swear this is a genuine post-he really is there!

Hi VannaB........Edge Lane is just at the back of my house and I have never seen the man in question. I'll be trawling Edge Lane now looking out for him.
At first when I read your question I thought it may be one of the many ghosts spotted on Edge Lane.
There are quite alot that have been spotted. Have you ever read any of the Tom Slemen books......I have nearly all of them....quiet scary reading some of the stories.

Definitely NOT a ghost! As you start at the top of Edge Lane (travelling out of Liverpool) you pass through 2 sets of lights, and there is a church on the corner. He stands at the side road on the left, just before the red coloured petrol station by all the road works. I see him on a Wednesday roughly 7.20-7.45am.
Vanna, we'll all be there next Wednesday ... seriously though, I would love to hear of anyone else seeing him! Could he be a ghost, though?
Why not stop and talk to him - you could ask him the questions?

Will someone give us an update please? Did anyone who went see the man too? Vanna did you see him again? Did anyone stop and talk to him to see why he is dressed like that? Old ladies need to know these things :)

Hmm, well I haven't seen him the last week. But have driven slowly past the area (have to really, as there are roadworks) and the church is a Hindu temple, so I am wondering what their 'priests' for want of a better word, look like? Maybe he is linked with this?
