Leicester to Plymouth

We have some friends who we met on our holiday and we all want to meet up soon, however, they live in Plymouth and we live in Leicester. Where would be a good place to meet up sort of half way to save us all from a very long drive. Somewhere we could have a nice weekend together with things to do? Many thanks

Agree that Bristol would be a good place to go - both for distance (not alot of difference between both theirs and your journey) and also things to do.

Bath is another option - similar in distance to Bristol, and lovely surroundings. It depends really on what you/they like doing - Bath is full of things to see like Roman Baths, museums , galleries etc. Have a look here:
