I agree with most of what's been written regarding the not-impressed attitude of the British public re: David Blaine's 'stunt'. Why doesn't that attititude extend to the other self-promoting, puffed-up, self-important celebs and wannabes that proliferate ? Who fancies whacking a few golf balls at Liz Hurley or Geri, for instance. Me first ...

The whole thing is being promoted as some amazing feat of achievement which in the US for example is gobbled up, but here we don't seem to be so willing to be swept along by what to me is just some bloke in a box. If somebody wanted to pay me a few quid to do it I'd also give it a go. Lets wait and see if he does it first. But even then I wont be overly impressed.
Hi everyone, well nearly everyone......I'm back after being off-line for a couple of weeks due to major PC prob's!!
I cannot for the life of me see why people would want to travel to London to see 'any' man in a box, let alone David Blaine! He must stink to high heaven, his teeth must be covered in plaque & his tonque must resemble the bottom of a Parrots' cage!! Our two daughters have been to 'see' him, but they didn't have much to say about that part of the visit to London - I can't think why?.........
