My cousins girlfriend is due to give birth soon...so what would that make me to the child? Some far out uncle or cousin? Family trees are so confusing!

the child will be your second cousin i'm in the same boat just found four missing aunts there children and children hope that helps.

Sorry but doodlebug is wrong. The offspring of your first cousin is your first cousin once-removed (downwards) which means that you are their first cousin once-removed (upwards). Your own children will be second cousins to your first cousin's children. Or to put it another way, first cousins have grandparents in common; second cousins have great-grandparents in common; third cousins have great-great-grandparents in common, and so on.
