Help! I have already got my best friend presents, and we were gonna see Chicago, but its sold out. Am trying to think of what else to do to make a day of it - its next monday, so things like theme parks are closed - and she doesn't want to see a different show. Please help, she recently split up with her man, so is low as it is. Thanks!

Take her back to somewhere special........where was the first place you met? If you can remember then would that be suitable....even if it's not try and make a point of showing her that you remember where you met and that it's a special place for both of you.....take a couple of sandwiches and a bottle of plonk and have a laugh reminising......failing all that jump on to the easyjet or ryanair webites and see where is cheap for the day....you might find that �60 quid will get you both a return to somewhere different..........I could be your tour guide if you fancy a spin round Glasgow?

To follow on the cheap travel theme - lunch in France if you go on the ferry as foot passengers wouldn't break the bank. Or (I'm assuming you were going to London for Chicago so it's a viable destination) you could do the sights e.g. Madame Tussaud's, national gallery, a drink in The Savoy (nice to be waited on!) maybe a boat trip on the Thames. Sometimes acting like tourists can be fun.

heya, i think jst bein with u is enough and gettn totally smashed and jst havin a fab time 2getha. me n my best mate sometimes jst sit in a parc or somewhere like that n we jst chat and hav a real laugh about stuff. its reli good and sometimes more special then an expensive trip out
