Hi All,

I am taking my little boy out tommorrow he is 4 and im debating between blackpool pleasure beach and alton towers can anybody recommend the best place

I've never been blackpool pleasure beach but to be honest i don't think alton towers is the kind of place that a 4 year old would enjoy. I think the pleasure beach is a much better idea.

Blackpool definitely. The queues at Atlon are massive and it is probably geared toward older children.

At the Pleasure Beach there are loads of kiddies rides and various other stalls and you can catch a tram and head up along the promenade, loads of things to do/see in Blackpool.

I love Blackpool, spent many happy holidays there, think i might revisit it this summer.

me too warpig, i am more drawn to bb cs i know whats there, i dont think camelot as much for young ones as well does it, well blackpool it is

I cant stand Alton Towers and wouldnt waste my money! I refuse to pay over 20quid to stand in a queue for an hour or more. Alos at the age of 4, i doubt he'd get much out of it.

On the other hand, Blackpool rocks! The pleasure beach is wonderful and plenty for young and ols, or there was last time i went. For a kid i still think its magical! Can i come, can i, can i??????? ;-)
