is it legal for someone to post pictures of you that were taken concentually if you told them that they could not post them. like say if they were explicit..

In the UK, copyright to images belongs to the creator of the image, in this case the photographer. Whether or not consent is given to take them, the photographer will only be bound by laws of decency (eg. certain types of pornography, so if they're explicit, they could well be on the internet illegally).

There are some celebs who copyright their image, which means that the photographer cannot use the image in any commercial way, such as selling copies or illustrating products etc etc. I believe this is a matter for civil rather than legal action.
