It's very hard to find much in the way of personal info about Derren but it appears that he's still single....as to the why not well I would suppose you'd have to ask him ultimately......On his own website at the fans forum section there is a constantly ongoing debate at to his sexuality......he wears immaculate suits = gay, is a magician = quite gay to start with, went to uni = quite gay, has a goatee = pretty gay, likes parrots = mega gay....and so on infinitum........pretty much it's his own business.

Went to uni....? Likes parrots....? And those are risk factors for being diagnosed as "gay", are they, sft...? lol Derren Brown keeps his private life private for the very simple reason that it adds to his media "mystique" and therefore his marketability (for some people). The only think that really interests me about him is whether he publicly pretends that his stunts are really "mind magic", or whether he ever admits that they are, of course, just childish (though very clever) tricks?

Is Derren Brown gay? If anyone has ever seen Derren in the flesh (so to speak) little signals tend to say he is. i.e: the way he walks; his mannerisms; and most of all the way he dances!! The uni, goatee and parrots dont necessarily point to being gay, in my opinion anyway. His loyal forum fanbase are a bunch of 16+ girlies who idolize him and seem obsessed by the mere mention of his name.(no doubt they'll reply here later) So whats the attraction? Some women, myself included(although not by Derren) like to be controlled. Derrens mastered the ability to build an instant rapport with people, making them feel relaxed and comfortable. His fame, wealth and charisma are very attractive, and certainly wouldn't stop him getting any women/man he wanted. But thats really the question, Does Derren want a relationship? For someone in the public eye, it becomes increasingly hard to trust individuals for obvious reasons. In several interviews he admits to being single and enjoying his own company. Well O.K, sometimes space is nice, but nothing can compare to a loving, trusting mutual relationship. People are often jealous of "the famous" but please dont be, it is often a curse as far as relationships go. Derren would probably love to find that trust in someone special, but as his fame grows, so does his suspicion. Feel sorry for the guy not envy.
