Healthwise: I appear to be normal if a touch overweight and have a little seasonal rhinitis.
Mentally: Tired and as always these days a low level depression in the background.
Other than those I am adequate, thank you for your inquiry......I suppose the normal thing to do is to reply with the standard repost here:....and yourself?
deflated. derbyram, your pain will never end I am afraid, but something tells me that deep down you enjoy the pain - which is why you will come back time and time again for more. Perhaps there might be some Aegean sunshine tonight, to dull the ache................. (failing that, I recommend a bottle of Southern Comfort)
I support Derby and England - I should be used to this feeling by now. On the up-side we lasted longer than the Germans, Italians and Spanish and it's actually quite a sunny day. The fixtures for division one - sorry 'The Coca Cola championship came out yesterday and I have at least a month and a half before the hurt starts all over again. Hope you are all well. I'll be buying the beers tonight, if you can find me....
Well, last night I was absolutely gutted, but feeling much better now, I refuse to let myself feel down too long no matter what. Besides, I have the World Cup in 2006 to look forward to! Hmmm, beating Germany in the final on their own turf, now wouldn't that be a great way to end the forty years of hurt???!!!
here is last night's ref's website - there is a contact email address for him......... http://www.ursmeier.ch/referee/
Very good this morning, actually, since
1) We BEAT the Portuguese fair and square, two goals to
one and the match ended;
2) We would undoubtedly have WHOPPED the lack
-lustre Dutch black and blue in the semi-final, and;
3) With all major obstacles thus removed, we would of
course have comprehensively smashed whichever
losers had the misfortune to make the Final alongside
us.
So, having now conclusively shown all Europe and the wider world that the finest football team in the world is again the English one, the Empire is now hereby re-established on its previous terms, and I'll shortly be recruiting for an expedition of stout-hearted volunteers to join me in taking back America from the upstarts and presenting that fair land to Her Majesty in time for the New Year Awards.
