Wedding dilema

been invited to a jewish wedding AND then to a black tie evening reception? wedding late afternoon - do i wear black tie to the whole do? or get changed? and does a jewish wedding differ greatly? is there anything i should know?

Dress-wise, it would look a little odd if you wore a black tie outfit all day - wear something smart, and then change for the evening. As to the difference is ceremony, I think as far as guests are concerned, weddings are pretty much the same - you turn up, sing, smile, and enjoy the day with the happy couple.
If the ceremony is after 4pm, it's OK to wear an evening suit.
I went to one a long time ago. Men are on one side of the synagogue and women are on the other. Non-Jewish men will be given a skull-cap to wear. I think that the women need to cover their hair (? headscarf).
