Feeling down is part of being human. People will always tell you to look at the good things in your life - you have friends, family, a boyfriend, but to be honest, none of that helps when you feel like this, it just makes you feel worse! Try not to put yourself under pressure to keep in touch with your boyfriend. Establish a few rules with him - you'll call or text him twice a eek, on set days, and no others, unless an emergency, and he won;t contact you outside those days. You'll see him maybe twice a week, say Wed. and Fri. or Sat, and the other weekend night - Fri. or Sat, is reserved for your friends only. That should give you som balance. If you BF is not happy with this arrangement, then maybe he is being too clingy, and ytou may have to think about moving on. It is worth a try, getting youself some space and taking the pressure off, so have a go, and let us know how it goes. If you need to tlk again, come back, we are all here, and we've all been there!
Andy Hughes, that is such a lovely answer <--hug--> Personalbabe - maybe you're feeling more down because the holidays are here, and rather then being busy with school and exams and things, you've got a lot more time on your hands to sit and think about things. Do what Andy says and take things easy with your boyfriend - if he loves you, he'll understand. Just have fun and enjoy your freedom while you can chick. :)
Stop drinking diet fizzy drinks... no seriously there is a link between aspartame - the artificial sweetner used in diet and low calorie drinks - and teenage anxiety and depression.
If you stop contacting him I'll bet he comes running to you!
