Why did she kill her mother

A girls father dies and at his funeral she meets the man of her dreams and falls deeply in love with him. She doesnt find out his name or anything about him. Soon after she kills her mother. Why?

continuing wraith's psychopath answer, the answer which most people give is something logical like 'because she found out that her mother was going out with him.' Whereas someone with psychopathic tendencies seems to think differently and will quickly come up with the dea that the man is a family friend, so if she kills her mother he'll come to the funeral and she'll see him again. I'm open to correction here, but I think it was used by police for some time as an early question to determine whether they were dealing with mentally unbalanced people or just gits.

Going back to what Wraith and MikeMikeMike said, it can't be logical to think that the girl killed her mother because the mother was having an affair with the man at the funeral. For the question says that the girl knows nothing about him- so she can't know that he was having an affair with the mother. So, contrary to what the police seem to think, the only logical answer is that the girl has figured out that, since the man attended her father's funeral, he might also attend her mother's. If the police really use this question to decide who's sane and who's insane then perhaps the people they've locked up are actually normal and it's the rest of us who are psychopaths?
