Is there a central register of up and coming court cases. If so can you find out dates and courts etc?

I am not 100 per c. sure but I don't think there is. Are you talking about a criminal case? A criminal case will normally be heard (lawyers pls correct me if I am wrong) either in the Crown Court or in the Magistrates. If you think it might be taking place in your town, you might be able to call in and look at the board - there is a board where they display what's coming up every day. Or you could try ringig the CPS and ask if they know when/where it's coming up, but I have a feeling they are a big body and very busy and may not be very helpful. If it's a civil case, if you can find out who the lawyers are for both parties, again they might be able to tell you. As far as I know trials are open to the public and you have to right to be present in the public gallery, but whether the people concerned are helpful to you depends on how busy they are. My apologies if I am off the mark - I realise I ended up making lots of assumptions in putting my reply together.
