I don't think black is actually a natural colour for hair so no I don't think there is...I spose you can always say blackhead but that sounds more insulting. People born with dark hair are usually considered to have dark brown hair aren't they?
Yeah raven haired, and OK so black mighn't be a natural hair colour for white people, but Doolallygirl is being very narrow minded in her assumption - obviously black is a natural hair colour for black or asian people.
Thanks for all the replies. Whether or not anyone can have truly black hair is not the point. It is still referred to as black. Redheads don't have red hair, do they! It's normally ginger, orange or auburn. I thought raven haired was the answer but was unsure as I couldn't find it in the online dictionary.
Ok, so you're saying there is no red, blond, or black hair, it's all brown (just more or less melanin). That is a rediculous answer to the question posted. On any medical records that require a description of the hair color as a multiple choice, black is listed. the question wasn't does the color black exist, it was; what do you call a person with black hair. stick to the topic.
