Why do some people insist on typing Q&A's in capitals? When you text in capitals it's considered as shouting, so do these posters think we may be deaf? !

I usually give then the benefit of the doubt...ie their Caps Lock key might have been inadvertently pressed. Also, if one is new to some 'social' situation, it is difficult to know how to behave appropriately. Few of us would know just how to act at a wedding in the Trobriand Islands. Newcomers to 'netiquette' are in much the same position. It's pretty harmless anyway, writing in capitals.

Nice one Alan2!!! I deserved that!!
I have to apologise - being new to the answerbank, I didn't realise using capitals would be so annoying to some people. Having posted a question, I got my answer and told not to use caps, anyway point taken and I will not do it again.
