Thought i'd ask this in here, sorry if its the wrong catogary.

I often get asked to prove my age in bars, some say i should be flatterd. But i often feel insulted as i'm almost 29. I don't want to have to take my passport out everywhere and i dont hold a full uk driving license as I only ride a 125cc vespa. What i want to know is if the provisinal photo card is an accepted form of id in pubs / bars? cheers.

I would think so. Lucky you looking younger than you are souldriver. Are you a fan of The Boss?
maybe ask whether they would accept a photocopy of the passport!,just tell them that you keep losing things hence the copy,if not then the bottom line is your going to have to get some kind of photographic id just to stop the hassle! good luck with that!
Make the most of it, child.
You're a long time looking at the lid.....
I hope this is your answer - apply online or get an application form from one of the places listed

If you mdean the boss 'bruce springsteen' no i'm not a fan. Thanks for your answers.
Provisional licence should be OK, it's the only reason my eldest son got one, didnt start to learn for over a year!!
Oh, and not everyone will accept the Citizen card - my youngest has one, as his eyesight isnt good enough for driving license
I'll send you a few of my wrinkles if it helps.
I'm 26 and still get ID. I believe that your provisional (or full) driving license and your passport are the only valid forms of ID that should be taken EVERYWHERE. I don't drive and use my provisional, and have never been refused once I have produced it.
