Just wondering about peoples opinions on British accents, I think the Newcastle women have the sexiest accent ever !.

I think a Liverpool accent on a man can be quite sexy, as long as it's not high pitched and he doesn't talk too fast!

I like Scots accents for women, I used to like Scouse accents, but I've gone off them now. For some reason, I find that people with West Midlands accents sound thinck, even when they patently are not. Odd isn;t it. Oh, and I don't mind the local accent here in Stoke, but it grates when I hear it on TV - thank God Jonathan Wilkes has disapeared!

Best - Scottish highlands or southern Ireland.

Worst, without a shadow of a doubt - scouse: grating and very very annoying.

I vote for a nice soft Scottish accent, Edinburgh or thereabouts. Geordie is nice as well though. My fave is actually American, someone nice and deep and rumbling like Marilyn Manson (his speaking voice, not singing), but I know this Q is about Brits!

Although not BRITISH - Irish accent is the best.   Although originally being southern, now I live in the north its great to hear a southerner @ work

Umm, as a girl, I like a nice northern accent myself- Scousers turn me off I'm afraid, and broad cockneys too. Brummies just make me laugh!
