Can anyone move to America to live for good. Im 32 years old with a British passport and was born in the UK. I find my holidays there fantastic and would really like to live in a place which is warm all year round.

If you have enough money (quite a but is required) and don't need to work, it's difficult, but not impossible.
However,if you want to go to the US to work and live, then that is nearly impossible,as the UK is not in the "Green Card Lottery".
I am sure Zac's link will explain it better than I can.
Sadly Mr Veritas is right.

As a general rule, you need to find an employer who will not only guarentee to employ you, but can satisfy the US Imigration Authorities that he specifically needs you, and reasons why the job should not be allocated to a US citizen.

They have a somewhat different approach to immigration than we do here in the UK!
This is the page from the US Embassy. You can see it is extremely difficult for someone with a British passport to move to the US.
