Can anyone tell me exactly where in County Down Northern Ireland, Castle Espey is? I have lived in NI all my life and only heard of it last night on the telly.

Castle Espie is two or three miles outside Comber, just off the main Comber to Killyleagh Road, overlooking Strangford Lough.

 

The Ulster Way also passes right by it.

 

I thought that every NI school child went there at least once on an 'educational' field trip!

Thank you SteveD and luckystrike for your answers, they are much appreciated. I'm obviously too old, as we were never taken on field trips when I was at school (more's the pity).
