ugly to fine

In 7th and 8th grade I was the uglyest person because I had acne everywhere in my face. When I was taking a test I found out that I liked friend but he told everyone that I was crazy for him and that I can't live with out him but Im in 9th grade I still had ance until I got Procative Solution and my face is all clear everyone and now the friend that I liked in 7th and 8th grade wants to go out with me because he said that I look hot and Have a great body. I don't know if I should go out with him?Should I?
