Is there an actual boundary for the area known as Harajuku (sp?) in Tokyo, Japan? Is it an actual district, or just an name given to one area for a particular reason.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Harajuku is an area in tokyo where young kids preteens and early teens go...lots of boutique style shops and all the kids are dressed in latest fashion and hairstyles and just stroll up and down the street looking at one another and window shopping....they usually hang around in groups....you will also see some kids dressed as dolls, nurses etc.... On the weekend it is like choco bloc and you can move only at a shuffle pace.....It is the name of a train stop .....Harajuku is the name of the area but it is famous for that one street (and a few sidestreets) where kids get toghether.
