HOWEVER ya remember Yvonne Fletcher who got shot outside the Libyan embassy? The police were given the (wrong) advice and told they couldnt go in? The advice was wrong -they could have under the doctrine of Hot Pursuit. Wht happened to the duty officer at the Fo who gave the wrong advice? Opening letters in Ulan bator to this day apparently.
What about employees of the embassies? Bottle washers and so on? They will employed under the host countries current legislation, and the emabssies will pay NICs and sick pay and so on.
what about the RRA and FOI? I am not sure. Try and see, and expect a kiss-off.
