French Actress called Judith Vittet

Where is she now?

Does anyone know what happened to French actress, Judith Vittet (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0900136/)? She made three films in the mid-nineties, before she was even ten years old, another in '97, and then subsequently seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet :(

She showed a lot of potential, especially in 'La Cit� des enfants perdus' (City of the lost children) where she exhibited a skill that many actors two/three/four times her age seem to lack completely, and I was expecting great things of her, but since 'K' in '97, nothing. I read in a French forum somewhere that she'd got involved in some drug-related trouble a couple of years back, and I was wondering if anyone had heard anything since?

I don't know where she is now either.  I understand that she wanted to put acting behind her so she could continue her studies.

I haven't heard about the drug taking but would be interested in finding out.  I love Jeunet films and I couldn't believe it when I first found out how old she was; she looks much older!

oh boy :))) why do you want to know more about her? whenever i search the name judith vittet on any search engine i find zillions of messages on forums similar to yours which dont know who she is at all.  i somehow always get the feeling that almost every middle aged french guy has some fantasies (not  sexual fantasies) about sweet preteen girls which are designed to look like a one-tiny-shining-perfection (this is where you should laugh... if you laughed really hard you can keep on reading) the reason for these fantasies which are repressed to the deepest location of their souls might be that they are cissy as hell and that they are not able to express their feelings to an adult female since these guys have some mental disorders. as you might have already assumed you dont have to be french to feel like them. come on boy... this girl hasnt appeared on screen since almost a decade. why do you want to know more about her? you better forget her. yea she did disappear off the face of the planet... did you know that judith vittet is not her real name at all? (seriously!!) i guess you did not. you would really be shocked if you knew all the things i know about her! forget about this girl... for gods sake! who cares? i know that you somehow like her. but you dont like that girl as she is probably now... instead you like what she represented in the movie. nowadays she probably pumps morphine heroine with LSD in herself just to get an insane kick while she is having sex with a 7 feet tall nig... ehm.. black guy in the mens toilet of a some crappy night club which is lost in the dark alleys of the good old paris... oh la laaa! C'est La Vie!
