Mountain top home

It is a dream of mine to have an isolated house on top of a high hill looking out over the surrounding country.  If you could have such a house (and if planning permission was no problem), what would it look like?  A Gothic castle perhaps? A Himalayan temple?

Love the question! Mine would be in a square with a courtyard in the middle, very open and bright and airy (of course the high hill would have to be somewhere warm!).
