Two men were talking about parks and one said Sefton park Liverpool was bigger than Central park New York. Can anyone tell me what the acreage is please?

well according to this link .. sefton park is 287 acres big..

whilst Central park has  843  acres

so Central park wins hands down.

Could it be that one of them has got their wires crossed? Birkenhead Park in Birkenhead on the Wirral (just the other side of the Mersey from Liverpool) was the basis for Central Park in New York. The bloke who designed Central Park apparently did so after visiting Birkenhead Park.
