If you're going to chuck water over the little darlings be sure to check how big their fathers are, otherwise you might find yourself on the the wrong end of a nasty treat.
Awe bless em' its the only time they get to beg isn't it? .... happy halloween is OK but trick or treat... hmmmm you are polite with the bucket of water.
Just tell them that you know santa... and we all know what he gets up to.
When I got out of my car late this afternoon there were a couple of young girls who had cooked some cheese puffs and were asking people if they would like to buy one and the money would go to charity (Shooting Star children`s hospice) I think they were genuine and I gave them a £1 (I won`t eat the cheese puff). I`d much rather give to a couple of enterprising kids than trick or treaters who basically say "give me money or we`ll do something nasty to your property"
Actually, we live right out in the sticks here on the Plain, so we never get pestered with the little darlin's. Bet you are all looking forward to the Carol Singers that will be starting up soon.
I am spending the night in a supposedly haunted farmhouse in the arse end of nowhere, I am fairly confident that the only trick or treaters I am going to encounter are bloody big spiders. To be honest I'd rather have a spotty faced Dracula trying to collect the full set of Quality St and Celebrations than contend with a Hunting Spider.
we have had three. first lot rung the door bell, so that got switched off. 2 nd lot climbed over the fence and third lot well they were quite young and couldnt fathom why ad had blocked the drive Mwahahaha!
Have actually never seen a child in the Close where I live, apart from visiting youngsters. After 9 years residence have given up on buying sweets for anybody knocking on the door.
