Prince Philip couldn't be bothered

Did you notice how uninterested Prince Philip was towards the crowds clapping and wishing him well, outside Church today ? I even noticed someone in a wheelchair waiting outside church. What is it about the Royal Family that makes people queue for hours in the cold and wet when certain members can't even be bothered to look at them ?

unfortunately,i have all too much experience of relatives etc affected by dementia at various ages,nfn,and that's why i know that age has nothing to do with it! you either are affected or no.i had a quick look at your link ladybirder,and it was wierd to see that women seem to be more susceptible than men.an awful disease.

I'm glad somebody has read it star.
At least if I get it there is compensation, I just read "Women who have dementia start losing weight at least 10 years before the disease is diagnosed, according to a new study." I haven't started losing weight so I should be OK for another 10 years then:-) Err does that mean their are no fat women with dementia?

I think he was just focused on making it to the church without keeling over.

It wasn't a walkabout where he was supposed to meet and greet anyone. If People want to turn up and applaud him for still being alive that's up to them, but I don't think he should be obliged to respond in those particular circumstances.
