I imagine in particularly cold countries that fur would be the best thing to keep a human warm and I don't have animals and humans on the same level so I would tell them to crack on... although as ethically as possible I guess.
There are a few pieces of old fur that are circulating around the family, when I say old I mean, probably, 70yrs plus. Back then it was quite acceptable to buy and wear fur and it seems wrong to me to discard it after all this time. I don't agree with hunting for exotic pelts and am undecided on the farming aspect.
I wore it as a teenager, a beautiful full length coat handed down from 3 generations, then it became a bed throw and then back in the wardrobe. When I tried to take it to charity shops none would take it, it met an untimely end which is sad but better than the risk of being set upon for something done so very long ago.
