1.I would reduce the retirment age to 60 for men and women- when people reached 58 for unskilled or semi skilled jobs they would be assigned an apprentice to take over from them in the 18-25 year bracket so that as we paid out more for retirement pension we paid out less for unemployment benefit amongst young people.
2. I would add not only tax but insurance costs onto petrol to get rid of untaxed, uninsured drivers and have an MOT disk for windows instead of a tax disk.
3. Build more social housing ( but not large estates) and build assist schemes a. to get the economy moving and b. to alleviate the housing shortage.
4. Encourage people who are unemployed to start their own businesses by guaranteeing loans from banks and by hands on help like council tax being free for the first year and also a graduated end to benefits.
5. End Faith Schools.

4. Supplementary driving tests before you can tow a trailer/caravan
5. Cap all *future* child benefits at two (or perhaps three) children

(2) Castrate rapists before letting them out of prison.
(3) change to gender balance of power - the nature of males (territorial and aggressive - a generalisation) makes them more prone to starting wars.
(4) Make sure that women are afforded the same basic rights as men in countries where they are currently treated very badly.
(5) I am tempted to also say - why not - hit the 'reset' button and take mankind back to the beginning and, hopefully, relgion won't be 'invented' the second time around.

4) End faith schools and ban all relgious indoctrination to those under 18.
5) Adopt (see 1) and apply the only useful law of the EU, namely that we will not accept asylum and immigration applications from those from the EU(ie they must apply in the first safe country), ie nearly all of them.
