I am just wondering, what happened to various people like..
Mammalyne
Ankou
Juno
Mr Veritas
emm....
Some from the news section like
Quinlad
Steve.5
And others that I used to see around?
Do they contribute to other topics? I know we all finish at some point here and some come and go, myself included....I was just wondering...there are many others I engaged with but I can't remember all their names?
Would anyone know if they just stopped popping in or if they left for good?
Thanks
Mamya still posts, think Ankou does too, though not as often. Juno? Do you mean jno? if you did, they still post, when they're not off galivanting around the world!
Don't think ive seen quinlad post for a bit, Steve.5 still around.
humm....I spoke with Mr Veritas early on, I remember talking to him about 'the depths of the abyss' or something. He seemed to be dealing with alot. Either way I hope he is ok. And the others too.
I often wonder what happens to some posters. The disappearance of Mollykins was much discussed and the disappearance of Ethel caused a lot of concern. Some people on here seem to know more than I do about what happened to users such as NazNomad, Poodicat and MrVeritas (although I vaguely recall all was not as it seemed in MrV's case). I'm currently wondering where DrFilth has got to- I hope he is okay as I know his health wasn't so good.
I miss Sallabananas banter ( you could always wind her up on a cat subject )
There are quite a few other names Ive not seen on here too. I suppose we are all soon forgotten once we leave.
Over the years there have been quite a few that come back under a different name, for whatever reason. The only ones left that I can remember from when I joined is WaldoMcFroog, Andy Hughes and Questionmonster. This must be about 10 years now.
There's currently andy-hughes posting - may be same one ?? Tends to be now and again, but I didn't know him before, so I can't say if the current & former are one and the same.
If you DID mean Quizmonster, Wildwood, I am certainly still here on a more or less daily basis, as is Andy Hughes. He was here right from the start and - as far as I know - I am next in the Longevity Stakes, my decade on AnswerBank being due in a few weeks.
We've presumably seen more 'disappearances' than most! Andy did suggest recently that either he or I would be the one to switch off the lights if AnswerBank did ever come to the end of the road.
