Hi there I'm just wondering whether you know of any good gay or fetish clubs in central london as well as parks, pubs etc? I've just recently came out so am still learning and getting to grips with the whole shebang so any advice, tips, hints or personal recommendations appreciated.

The London apprentice was always the iffy one but there are others.. the scene changes quite rapidly and I've been out of that life some time so you might need to look out for those rainbow flags...
Jaysond - I use straight sites.

Which are not taboo, frowned upon or hated, so not much of a comparison. :)
No need to be too concerned most folk are not interested in what other folk get up to if its not done secretively or in a way that affects them
I once had a large Gay following, but I ducked into an alleyway and lost him.

Rowanwitch I wish everyone thought like that but in my situation it would kill my mum and dad to find out I was gay.
Wasn't HH the place to go when the "scene" was not acknowledged by the powers that be?

I would think that if it is still a place to go, it may not be the place for Jaysond to embark on lifes adventures.
Ignore Redman he's just hoping I'll smack his bum when I get home..

Lol, he's one of my favourite characters on Balls of steel
The gay issue has been well addressed here; not so the fetish one. What is your fetish? There may be folk on here who are more than willing to help in that respect.
I repeat Do not go to hampstead heath you don't always get the option of saying no thank you
Jaysond. I don't know how old you are, but if you are gay and not experimenting, sooner or later your going to have to tell your folks. The longer it gos on the more painful for you.

I do hope you have someone to talk to and not just us.
"The longer it goes on the more painful for you".
Wish I'd thought of that one.
Brother came out a couple of years ago to family no big deal.
Mum told me in a way that I thought he had cancer well after that fright she could of said anything.
Will always love him whatever he does or is. Never understood why he did not come out to me as I frequented a few gay bars and clubs in my youth.
Jaysond - I never have understood. Perhaps you can enlighten me as to why gay sites might be considered to be taboo, frowned upon or hated. From what I have learned, it is perfectly normal to be either straight or gay - although I certainly have my own personal preference.
What a gay day this is on AB.!!

Leeks about Welsh politician etc.:-)

Mike I can't go into fetish's here for obvious reasons especially not what I'm interested in :)

Rowanwitch, really it's that bad there? Well not my scene, I'm not too tall and scrawny so hh's defo a nono.

Dave, I've joined a few random chatsites and the only ones that know are people like yourselves who I talk to.

Gavmacp, it must've felt like a mountain off his shoulders.

Sirprize, if you come from religious or non gay liking backgrounds where gays are shunned, ostracized, tormented and in some cases even killed you'd understand a bit more, I wish all people were as open and accommodating as you all but unfortunately life isn't that fair to everyone :(

I have some errands to run for my grandmother so I'll catch you all later I hope. :)
If you're worried about people seeing what sites you've been looking at I suggest you read the link I posted on the first page. If you use a different browser than IE then the same facility is available on all the main browsers.
Pick up the magazines there are adverts for the bars where those with different preferences meet or go to a pride event and talk to people in the market area where they sell the gear appropriate to your penchant.
