Good for them! Personally, I think some of them look a bit odd - but if that's how they want to look, why not? The lady in black with the big glasses looks spectacular!

they're all New Yorkers. You don't really see style like that on the streets of London, let alone Whitby. The most stylish people around London seem to be young Japanese.

I've been thinking about this since I saw them in the paper on Sunday...I think they look great and why should age stop you dressing the way you want to and the way you feel comfortable with. My OH is always having a go about the way I dress and it really pee's me off.

I thought they looked pretty good. The one with the big black hat and huge glasses rather reminded me of Tootsie though.

I think they are all fantastic-and very individual looking. Typical New Yorkers-full of life and enthusiasm.....money helps also.

I dress for comfort now most of the time but I admire those that can still be bothered to make the effort. Apparently the women of Madrid are arguably the smartest in the world I read somewhere, ages ago though. But I must say I've seen some very smart women in London, especially the Old Bond Street area and Sloane Street.
